Agenda – Distributed prior to start of meeting – 30 Members in attendance
Opening Remarks – Meeting was called to order by President Scott Glackin.
Coach’s Report - Coach Other let parents know that football player profiles are due and are an important part of the program. The profiles are used at coach’s clinics, for college scholarships and next level football playing. Coach Other also expressed that if player unable to make football schedule for whatever reason Athletes are encouraged to put family above football, however Coach Phillips demands communication regarding missed practices, etc.
Vice President’s Report – Alicia Reed – no information to report at this time.
Secretary’s Report – Cheryl Effinger – Cheryl asked that you make sure you are signed
in on sheet being passed around as the QBC Offices and Coaches feel it is important to
be involved and accountable.
Treasurer’s Report – Dave Lawler – Dave had copies of the budget available. He briefly
Went over details of budget.
Bingo – Doing about the same every week averaging about 60 Bingo Players.
Weight Lifting – Coach Knapp reported that the boys were doing well and dead lifts, lunge, squat and test will be coming up in future practices.
OSU Spring Game/Practice – Scott stated we are working on date, cost of transportation, details for possible trip for Panther players.
Golf Outing – Scott stated that July 28 is tentative date and possible location Richenbacher Golf Course. Volunteers will be needed both before and during the golf outing. A discussions was held regarding PHSC has 40 foursomes PHSN needing at least 20 foursomes to make it golf outing work; corporate sponsors also needed; costs of teachers and coaches
Mandatory Parent Meeting/Pig Roast – Scott announced July 21 as date of event. Details of time and location forthcoming. Considering Pig Roast and Pot Luck Dinner.
Pizza Bread Fundraiser – Starts April 20, 2007. Pizza Company makes random telephone calls to sell and deliver pizza. QBC makes percentage of money per pizza sold.
